Heather and I met at one of my Fort Worth favorites, Brewed, for our time together, and I could not love this sweet woman more! She is beautiful inside and out, and when she walked through the door in polka dot pants I knew we’d be instant besties. Enjoy getting to know the sweet and talented Heather this morning!

What inspires your work the most: I believe it’s life’s little details that give color and meaning to the world around us. I thrive on capturing the small but meaningful elements that add layers of significance to the story I’m documenting. My background in interior design has blessed me with an eye for spatial planning and a knack for composition, which I hope gives my photos a fine art presence.
Favorite coffee spot: With hopes of not sounding too predictable, I have to go with Starbucks. They make my drink the same way no matter where I am in the world, and when I’ve got my baby with me there’s a guaranteed drive through within a 5 mile radius. I’m simple and need convenience at this stage of my life. I wish I had some great “hipster photographer” answer for you, but Starbucks it is. I’m lame and highly addicted to their iced nonfat lattes with two raw sugar.
Had your first cup of Jo at the age of: Not sure of the specifics, but probably with my mom at Starbucks when it first hit the scene in the 90’s. I’m an addict because of her, and in my first year of college I couldn’t live without espresso running through my veins during my frequent all nighters.
