Blake + Lauren | Engagements
Blake and Lauren are engaged! We shot their engagement photos exactly on their 5 year dating anniversary, pretty sweet huh?! We started off the session in a quirky record shop (both big music lovers) then headed outdoors with their adorable pups, and lastly finished it off in the beautiful city of downtown Fort Worth.
They are tying the knot this October in Austin, Texas and it’s going to be a gorgeous fall wedding! Lauren also happens to be my boyfriend Tyler’s sister, so it’ll be one big fiesta of love, family and friends! Thank you both for having me shoot this sweet time, enjoy!! Xoxo

Full Force
After much planning, discussing, and collaborating with incredibly smart minds, the new site is here!! As you’ll probably notice- there is a new section to the site, a styling section! After I began working part time for Anthropologie, I fell more in love with styling than I ever had before. I started to find myself looking daily at inspiration everywhere I could for outfits – and before I knew it, friends and clients were asking me to style bits and pieces here and there for them on the side. Something this fun surely couldn’t be turned into a career right? Right?! After much research and collaborating with some of the most respected business women I know- I decided to full force this thing. After all, life’s too short to not do what you totally and fully love. I just happen to love two things, photography and styling!
It’s always a little scary to put yourself out there with something new, but if starting my photography business in 2008 taught me anything, it’s that you can do absolutely ANYTHING you set your mind to and work hard for. My biggest hope for this little blog and business is that it will become your go to place for a dose of daily inspiration. A place where you simply unwind and get a breath of fresh air from the busy world we live in. I look forward to hearing what you all think of the new home! Now let’s get started……
